For Estheticians ยท Orem, Utah

A smarter way to run your esthetics practice.

Private treatment studios in Orem for facials, skincare, waxing, and beauty services. Fully equipped, professional, and booked by the hour.

The Honest Reality

The esthetics problem no one tells you about.

Opening your own esthetics studio in Utah is expensive and slow. You're not missing something. The traditional model really is the way it looks.

01

The buildout trap

Between furnishings, sterilization equipment, ventilation, and a facial bed, a new esthetician easily spends $10,000 to $20,000 before seeing a single client. Most never recoup it.

02

The lease that eats you

A small esthetics suite in Orem or Provo runs $900 to $1,800 a month. That's due whether your calendar is full or not. New practitioners pay it even on slow weeks.

03

The employer split

Working in a salon or spa usually means splitting your revenue 40 to 60 percent with an employer. Your skill earns the money; someone else keeps most of it.

Note: the treatment studios don't have plumbed water, but clean water is allowed for services that need it.

Common Questions

Esthetician questions.

The questions estheticians ask most before they book a tour.

Can I do facials at CGW Studios?

Yes. The treatment studios (Studios 1, 2, and 5) are well suited for facials, skincare, waxing, and other esthetician services. The hydraulic tables with heated table warmers, soft lighting, and private enclosed environment are designed for this kind of work. The treatment studios don't have plumbed water, but clean water is allowed for services that need it. Studio 6 (the Salon Studio) is the only studio with a plumbed wash station if you need running water for specific services.

What products do I need to bring?

You bring your own product line (cleansers, serums, masks, treatments), linens if you prefer specific ones, and any personal tools. The studio itself provides the table, towel warmer, fan, speaker, and soft lighting.

Can I do waxing services in the treatment studios?

Yes. Waxing is welcome in the treatment studios. Bring your own wax, strips, and sanitation supplies. The rooms are private and fully enclosed for client comfort.

What if I need extra equipment like a magnifying lamp or LED device?

You're welcome to bring your own specialty equipment for specific services. The base studios are set up with the core treatment gear; anything beyond that comes with you and goes with you between sessions.

Do I need a Utah esthetician license to book?

Yes. CGW Studios is designed for licensed professionals. You need an active Utah esthetician license to book and practice.

Can I store my products at CGW Studios between sessions?

Yes, if you rent a locker. CGW Studios offers lockers that practitioners can rent as a home for their product line and tools. If you don't rent a locker, you bring your supplies in and take them home between bookings. Many estheticians use a rolling case or tote until they're ready for a dedicated locker.
