Our Story

Built by practitioners, for practitioners.

CGW Studios was founded by Michael and Aeden in Orem, Utah, to give independent wellness and beauty professionals a smarter way to start and grow their practice.

The People Behind CGW Studios

Two paths. One realization.

How a practitioner and an entrepreneur built something different.

CGW Studios was built through two distinct paths that converged at the right time.

Michael spent over two decades working directly with clients, developing a deep understanding of what real care requires and where existing environments fall short. Aeden, a lifelong entrepreneur, built the systems, infrastructure, and foundation that allowed that work to grow.

When the business was forced into transition, a new realization emerged. The industry was not designed for independent practitioners to succeed.

The model that became CGW Studios was born from that moment. It removes the traditional barriers to independence while elevating both the practitioner and client experience.

Together, they built something different. Not a space to fill, but a structured environment where practitioners can do meaningful work and build something of their own.

What We Believe

Three things we won't compromise on.

01

Professional Freedom

Every practitioner deserves a path to independence that doesn't require signing a lease, buying out a buildout, or waiting until the stars align. The model should bend to your life, not the other way around.

02

A Real Professional Home

Your clients feel the space before they feel your work. CGW Studios exists because we believe an elevated environment earns your clients' trust, and lets you charge what your work is worth.

03

Shared Infrastructure, Private Work

Every practitioner should benefit from a professional front desk for client check-in, marketing exposure, equipment, and location. Every session should happen behind a closed door in a space that is yours for the hour.

The Owners

Meet Michael and Aeden.

The two people behind CGW Studios. They are onsite regularly, they know every practitioner who books here, and they are the people you will meet when you tour the building.

Michael Jaece

CEO

Michael did not set out to build a studio. She set out to understand people.

For over two decades, her work has been rooted in listening. Not just to what clients say, but to what the body reveals over time. Patterns, tension, and stories that do not always have words. With a background in massage therapy dating back to 2000 and a degree in psychology, she developed a practice known for something harder to define. Clarity. People did not just leave feeling better. They left feeling understood.

As her practice grew, so did a frustration with the environments available to independent practitioners. Most spaces were built for appearance or convenience, not for the depth of work being done inside them.

During a pivotal period when Aeden stepped away from the business, Michael moved into leadership. While running the studio day to day, she enrolled in a business academy where she gave structure to something she had felt for years. The industry was not built for practitioners to succeed independently.

That realization became the foundation for a new model. One designed to remove the barriers of overhead, long-term commitments, and fragmented environments.

Today, Michael leads CGW Studios as CEO while continuing her own practice with a limited number of clients. The studio itself reflects her core belief. When practitioners are properly supported, the quality of care changes and people feel the difference.

Aeden

Chief Operations Officer

Aeden did not come into the wellness space through tradition. He came into it through necessity, pattern recognition, and a lifelong instinct to build.

A serial entrepreneur with a history of starting and scaling businesses, Aeden operates at the intersection of creativity and execution. His role has always been consistent. Build what does not exist yet and make it work.

In 2016, after surviving two strokes, everything changed. Unable to return to traditional work, he focused on recovery, family, and building something sustainable. What began as support for his wife's practice became a self-built business designed for independence and long-term stability.

Over the next decade, Aeden became the operational backbone behind that growth, leading branding, client acquisition, facility design, and day-to-day operations.

In 2022, he stepped away to work in the film and television industry as a Local 600 Unit Still Photographer, contributing to productions including Yellowstone. During that time, the business evolved.

When he returned, the opportunity was clear.

Today, as Chief Operations Officer, Aeden focuses on building the systems and scalability behind CGW Studios. His work is centered on what is coming next. A shift toward independent work and the growing need for environments that make that transition possible.
